Is it really possible ? What happened to summer …. well as another summer fades away I look forward to breeding season and what new kids will bring . I look forward to the smell of a wood fire fresh-baked bread and cooking on the wood stove . I do not look forward to doing barn chores in below zero temps and freezing my butt off !
Things have been very busy here . Cassie graduated high school and prepares for college and her driver’s license . Mikaylee goes into 6th grade {as Mom sheds a tear } . T.J. has a few classes left before heading away to Pharmacy school . Jessica will finish up her needed classes to finish her degree also . And Morgan turned 1 . Dang I really am getting older .
My Amish workmen are due back this week to do some more building . I found a can cooler for our milk . Mark and I will take a road trip to MD to look at another pasteurizer . We need to finish up plans so we can then pour the cement for the cheese room and milk house . I need to pick out windows and doors yet also.
County Fair went well . The girls did great and had a lot of fun showing . The bug has bitten Mikaylee and I think she will continue to show her Jersey cows along with everything else. Mark’s shoulder is slowly healing from his injury at fair . He is still in a sling for at least another 2 weeks . The girls qualified for State Fair but we cannot go this year with Mark being injured.
